Chief of the head department, teachers, dear friends, ladies and gentlemen,

　　Good morning!

　　I’m Lim Lin Hua and I’m from Mauritius.

　　We are glad to represent Mauritius and to join this exciting experience that awaits us. In fact, Mauritius is a multicultural country in which there is only 2% of Chinese out of 1.2 million people.

　　Meeting teenagers of other nationalities will surely be very enriching, as we will be able to share our different cultures, values and traditions.

　　On behalf of our friends, we hope that during these 2 weeks, we will be able to create strong friendship bonds.

　　We would like to thank the organizing committee for this great opportunity to learn more about the Chinese culture and our origins.

　　We will surely enjoy ourselves while learning mandarin, participating in various achieves and discovering the rich cultures which exist in China. This will trigger a strong interest in seeking our roots.
