哈尔滨 

　　哈尔滨位于东北平原北部，是黑龙江省省会。它是中国东北地区重要的工业城市和铁路交通枢纽，也是东北北部航空运输中心之一。 

　　哈尔滨纬度位置高，与加拿大首都渥太华相近。夏季气候温和，是旅游避暑胜地；冬季气候严寒，冰天雪地，人称“冰城”。1月5日为“冰雪节”，每年这里都要举行盛大的冰灯游园会，各种冰雕、冰灯等艺术品，令人百看不厌。  

　　太阳岛 

　　太阳岛是松花江江心的一个沙岛，岛上树木繁茂，白沙碧水，空气清新，是旅游和疗养的好地方。

　　Harbin, located in the north of the Northeast Plain, is the capital city of Heilongjiang Province. It is an important industrial city and the hub of rail transportation in Northeast China and also a regional air transport hub.  

　　Harbin lies at high latitude, similar to that of Ottawa, the capital of Canada. In summer, the weather is mild and it's a good summer resort and tourist place; in winter the weather is freezing and the whole city is covered by snow. January 5 is the day for the annual "Festival of Ice and Snow" featuring a great garden party of ice lanterns, and a display of various ice sculptures and artworks.  

　　Sun Island Sun Island is a sand island in the middle of the Songhua River, on which trees thrive and which also offers a white beach and fresh air. It is a very good place for tourism and recuperation.
