昆明  

　　昆明是云南省的省会，是全省政治、经济、文化、科技、交通中心。 

　　昆明自然风光优美，气候四季如春，鲜花长开不谢，享有“春城”和“花都”的美誉。但是，昆明昼夜和晴雨之间的温差较大，又有“四季无寒暑，一雨便成冬”的说法。 

　　昆明文物古迹和风景名胜众多，是国际著名风景旅游城市。  

　　大观楼 

　　大观楼坐落在滇池边，高三层，呈方形，红墙绿瓦。登楼远眺，海阔天空，湖光山色，尽收眼底。楼前的一幅180字长联被誉为古今第一长联。  

　　世界园艺博览园场馆 

　　昆明世界园艺博览园场馆，是一组较为宏大的建筑群，占地218公顷，主要有国际馆、中国馆、人与自然馆、大温室、科技馆等建筑。国际馆建筑面积12,006平方米，由一圆形主体和100多米长的弧形墙组成。中国馆占地约20,000平方米，是世博会最大的室内展馆，用于展示绚丽多彩的中国园林园艺。 

　　Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, has beautiful natural scenery. It is the provincial center of politics, economy, culture, technology and transportation. 

　　The four seasons are all like spring and flowers blossom all year round, so it enjoys the reputation of being a "spring city"and "flower city". However, there is a big difference in temperature between day and night, between sunny days and rainy days. There is a saying which goes "there are no winters and summers, but winter comes after rain".

　　There are a lot of cultural relics and historical sites and scenic spots in Kunming, which has become a famous international tourist city.  

　　The Grand View Tower 

　　The Grand View Tower, located by Lake Dian, is a three-story square building. It has red walls and green tiles. From the tower one has a panoramic view of boundless sky, beautiful lake and mountains. The long couplet with 180 Chinese characters found here is honored as the longest couplet in ancient and modern times. 

　　The Kunming International Horticultural Expo Site 

　　The Kunming International Horticultural Expo Site is a group of magnificent buildings, covering an area of 218 ha, including the International Stadium, China Stadium, the Stadium of Human and Nature, the Great Greenhouse, the Science Stadium, etc. The International Stadium, with a floor space of 12,006 m2, is made up of a round main building and an over 100 m苾ong arc wall. The China Stadium, covering an area of about 20,000 m2, is the largest interior stadium in the Expo and is used to display the wonders of Chinese gardening.
