澳门特别行政区位于珠江口的西南岸，由澳门半岛、氹仔岛、路环岛组成，总面积23.5平方千米，人口44万(2000年11月1日第五次人口普查结果)。

　　对外贸易、旅游博彩业、建筑地产业和金融业是澳门四大经济支柱。

　　澳门面积虽小，但人文旅游资源较多，特别以妈阁庙、“大三巴”最为著名。

　　The Macao Special Administrative Region,located on the southwest bnak of the estuary of the Pearl River,comprises the Macao Peninsular,Taipa and Coloane islands,covering an area of 23.5 km with a population of 440,000(according to the fifth census ,November 1,2000).

　　Foreign trade,tourism and gambling,construction and real estate and financial industries are the pillars of Macao’s economy.

　　Though Macao has a small area,it has rich tourist resources of culture,especially the famous A-Ma Temple and “Da San Ba”.
